For over 200 years, Principessa Marina Colonna has been producing oils on her estate in Martino, in southeastern Italy's unspoiled Molise region on the Adriatic coast. A family property, Colonna is well known for its extra virgin olive oils as well as special blends that are pressed with fragrant organic lemons, oranges, bergamots and tangerines. The family's 140 acres of groves cultivate 22 varieties of olives. Manually harvested when slightly under ripe, Colonna olives are processed and then milled on the same day. Each olive variety is harvested, processed, milled and cold pressed separately to ensure quality.
